The conference will be held at the Bramber House Conference Centre, which is in the middle of the Sussex University campus (link to map). The nearest station, adjacent to the university, is Falmer. Allow 10 minutes to walk from the station to the conference centre.

Accommodation: the University of Sussex is located midway between the city of Brighton and the smaller historic town of Lewes; both are on the railway line to Falmer – Brighton is 3 stops, 10 minutes; Lewes one stop, 5 minutes. Brighton has a huge range of hotel, guest-house and B&B options to fit a variety of budgets and tastes. The university often uses Jury’s Inn behind the train station for visitors to Brighton. For those seeking a quieter setting, Lewes has two hotels, both 5 minutes’ walk from Lewes station: the White Hart Hotel and the budget-level Premier Inn.

Arriving from abroad: closest airport is Gatwick, from which there are frequent direct trains to Brighton (30 minutes) and slightly less frequent trains to Lewes (35 minutes). Other airports are Heathrow (train travel time about 2 hours), Luton (also about 2 hours) and Stansted (closer to 3 hours). As well as trains, cheaper but less frequent bus connections also exist between these airports and Brighton (but not Lewes).

The UK government has recently eased some restrictions on international arrivals. Please check official guideline for travelling to England.
